Diesel & Fleet Service Mechanic
Full-Time • Central Florida (Flagler to Titusville) • Veteran-Owned & Operated • Veterans Encouraged to Apply
Farm & Fleet Mechanical Solutions is a veteran-owned mobile diesel and fleet repair company serving Central Florida, from Flagler to Titusville. We work on everything from tractors and other farm equipment to heavy equipment and fleet trucks — right where our customers need us, not in a shop bay. We're looking for one exceptional mechanic who takes pride in doing the job right and can be trusted to handle it solo, on-site, every day.
This isn't a shop job. Every morning you'll load up your fully equipped service truck and head out to wherever the work is — a farm outside Flagler, a fleet yard near Titusville, a piece of heavy equipment that broke down mid-job. You're the one who shows up, diagnoses the problem, and gets it running again, whether that means chasing an electrical gremlin, rebuilding a hydraulic system, or laying down a weld repair on the spot. There's no service manager hovering and no shop foreman looking over your shoulder — just you, the customer, and the equipment in front of you. We built this company on trust: we trust you to represent us well, make the right call, and treat every customer's equipment like it's your own. In return, you get the independence a lot of mechanics never find in a traditional shop — your own company truck, your own schedule of stops, and the respect that comes with being the one person a customer can count on to make it right.
What You'll Do
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems on farm and heavy equipment, as well as fleet trucks
Perform on-site welding repairs using your equipped service truck's Lincoln Electric welder
Travel daily to customer locations across our Central Florida service area (Flagler to Titusville) — some days may include multiple stops
Communicate clearly with customers about diagnoses, repairs, and timelines
Keep accurate records of parts, labor, and work performed on each job
Maintain your service truck and its equipment so it's ready to roll every morning
What We Offer
Competitive pay, based on experience
Truck home — take your fully equipped service truck home with you
All tools provided, including your equipped truck's Lincoln Electric welder
Company-paid fuel and supplies
Weekly pay, year-round
Independence and respect on the job
What We're Looking For
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in diesel repair, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Experience with farm equipment and heavy equipment specifically, not just over-the-road trucks
A valid driver's license and comfort with daily travel between job sites
Someone who takes pride in doing the job right the first time
A self-starter who's ready for independence and doesn't need to be micromanaged — tired of shop politics and flat-rate stress? Even better.
